You'll hear about changes from us, first
Not from a receipt, not from a locked screen. If a price or an allowance changes, anyone already paying gets told directly, with enough notice to decide.
Nothing gets held hostage
Your documents, accomplishments, applications and generated materials are yours. Cancel and you keep working to the end of the period you paid for, then drop to the free allowance — you can export everything and delete the account at any point.
Early users were treated as early users
Everyone we handed a code to before there was a price has a year of the Search plan on us. We said the people who used it while it was rough shouldn't pay the same as people arriving later, and that is what that meant.
